Education:
BS Digital Media Studies or other technical.
Computer:
- basic programming skills, emphasis on design, graphics, presentation skills.

Description:
Provide support to our Orion Project communication efforts including Weekly Accomplishment Reports, preparing high impact presentation materials, organizing project meetings, developing archives for technical papers, assuring that our photo and video storage process is working smoothly, and other miscellaneous tasks as requested.
- Serve as liaison between Orion Major Reviews Integration Team and Orion PP&C organizations.
- In this role, serve as communication facilitator between Orion VI&D SE&I and the DM, MS, and IT groups.
- Coordinate document publication for Project Reviews and ensure communication of that publication to the Project.
- For all major reviews, serve as logistics coordinator.
- Plan for and reserve appropriate venues, ensuring appropriate audio/visual equipment and support are available.
- Plan for and obtain IT support for offsite meetings to include internet access for meeting guests, access to facility IT equipment (computers, projectors, etc) for meeting facilitators.
- Provide support to Orion Major Reviews Integration Team for collection and analysis of Lessons Learned; collection and account creation for Review Item Discrepancy (RID) tool users; review and disposition of RIDs, and in-meeting logistics and control (e.g., seating and attendance at the meeting).
- Build and leverage relationships across organizational boundaries within NASA, including other Level III projects, the Level II Program, other NASA Programs (e.g., ISS), and NASA Headquarters.
- In addition, build and leverage relationships outside NASA with venue organizers and management to ensure cooperation and availability for major reviews.
Essential Requirements: Applicant selected will be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Work may involve sitting for extended periods. May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lb. Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of test facilities where necessary. Generally an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task. Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.) Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required. Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
