Farouk Systems, a dynamic and profitable global manufacturer of hair care products is looking for an entry level Lab Technician to join our team in the North Houston area. The incumbent will work/train under the direction of the VP of R&D and chemists. Plenty of room for growth and advancement!
Duties/Responsibilities:
Support chemists through general maintenance of lab area
•Responsible for learning Farouk specific lab testing procedures, techniques, equipment, and instrumentation
•Prepare and test samples
•Prepare general lab paperwork as directed by chemists
Qualifications:
•Associates/Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology or other related field
•1-2 years experience working in a laboratory environment with the desire to progress
•Good communication, interpersonal, teamwork skills
•Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
