Description
As a Project Manager your primary responsibility is to manage projects and provide supervision to the coordinators and engineers. This position will work cooperatively with members of the designated consulting and engineer teams and with the sales and operations departments, and will operate with a high degree of independence. Responsibility of the projects will typically start at the point of the sale and last through the completion and customer acceptance of the completed project
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct site inspections as necessary to develop installation standards and specifications
*
Provide pre-sale support to sales team in advance of a contract signature
*
Assist sales and engineering resources in the creation of robust scope of work
*
Review scope of work with customer to ensure project integrity and communicate customers’ responsibilities to ensure they are an active participant as required to assure project success.
*
Establish and manage to specific project milestones.
*
Determine appropriate project team staffing requirements and ensure requirements are adequately met.
*
Communicate goals, objectives, and customer expectations to project team members
*
Coordinate events and act as the central point of contact for internal and external resources including the customer while communicating project status and risk analysis to customers’ and management regularly throughout the project.
*
Establish goals and objectives, scope of work, implementation plan and time frames, and implementation team responsibilities for the project.
*
Establish site documentation, progress status meetings, configuration plan, training and follow-up plan, and test and acceptance plan.
*
Monitor/measure timeliness, profitability and customer satisfaction for each project.
*
Supervise and ensure quality implementation by internal and external resources including contracted professional services.
*
Solicit competitive bids from authorized service providers for specific project cabling/wiring requirements.
*
Manage project risks to resolve jeopardy conditions adversely affecting on-time performance, profitability or customer satisfaction.

As project nears completion, create cut list of outstanding work to be done in order to manage timely and mutually satisfactory project closure
*
Make full use of project management and financial tracking tools provided, and consistently evaluate the profitability of the projects assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
*
Project management training is required; project management certification is desired.
*
Ability to analyze job content and make recommendations.
*
Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.
*
Exceptional organizational and control skills
*
5 + years in project management and supervising a team is required.
*
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or General Administration or equivalent experience in a related field.
*
PMI or similar certification in project management is preferred
DESIRED SKILLS:
*
3+ years experience in project management of software deployment
*
Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Visio, Adobe Acrobat applications
