Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Senior Information Management Specialist to join our team. The Senior Information Management Specialist will assist in the selection, implementation, management, and administration of electronic enterprise-wide information management systems. This person will play a key role in identifying and implementing processes for business information optimization.

 

Responsibilities include:


  • Assisting in evaluating, piloting, selecting, deploying, administering, and supporting Enterprise Content Management technologies including, but not limited to, document management, case management, litigation hold and electronic discovery tools, records management, structured and unstructured content management, and imaging and digital asset management.

  • Assist in translating functional requirements into technical specifications, focusing on integrated solutions around business content.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of corporate taxonomy and standardized file naming conventions.

  • Ensure that systems are designed to execute retention and disposition of business information pursuant to legal and business requirements.

  • Support legal discovery of electronic content.

  • Create business process maps.

  • As part of Information Management function, work with Information Technology and business units regarding information creation, management, retrieval and deletion processes.

  • Design and generate reports documenting consistent and defensible information destruction processes.



 





Qualifications


 

 

 

Successful candidates will meet the following qualifications:


  • A Bachelor's degree is required.

  • Information Management or Information Technology focused degrees are preferred.

  • CDIA+ (Certified Documenting Imaging Architect) Certification is preferred.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.

  • Certified in forensic data collection is preferred.

  • Experience as a testifying witness on information management matter is a plus.

  • A minimum of five (5) years experience in direct management of multiple, complex projects is required.

  • A minimum of five (5) years experience gathering and executing requirements pertaining to the implementation of Enterprise Management Systems, which may include e-mail management systems, documentation systems, e-discovery, archiving, and implementing an evidence data library is required.

  • Knowledgeable of information management software applications is required.

  • A minimum of one (1) year experience resolving risk and compliance issues related to information management is required.

  • A minimum of two (2) years experience working with diverse groups of technical and non-technical end-users is required.

  • A minimum of two (2) years experience with change management is required.

  • A minimum of three (3) years experience working with business process documentation is required.

  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
