Energy Offshore Class is responsible for the maintenance of Class and Statutory compliance for mobile offshore units (production, drilling, and support; semisubmersible, jackup, and ship-shaped) operating in the Gulf of Mexico and worldwide.
Major Duties:
This position will manage and facilitate the Class processes for offshore floating platforms and coordinate between DNV and our clients. Candidate will also provide engineering focus, leadership, and technical assistance to DNV discipline engineers relating to offshore floating structures and systems plan approval.
This position works DNV regions and with all areas of DNV to ensure client satisfaction and service. In addition, the Project Manager is responsible for all administrative aspects of their specific project. This position has extensive client interaction and requires both technical expertise and a customer focus.
We are looking for Project Managers who could also double as Regulatory Compliance Managers for GoM Projects. Very good understanding and similar experience in dealing with USCG and MMS is required.
This position will have good interaction skills to effectively transact with our clients and within the DNV project team and interacting departments.
Job Requirements :
A Graduate degree in Naval Architecture/Marine/Mechanical Engineering with 10 years of relevant experience.
Good understanding of International Regulations like USCG, SOLAS, IMO, MARPOL and Flag state requirements.
Good knowledge of industry standards like API, ASME, ANSI, NFPA, NACE, BS and ISO standards that are relevant for the above scope of work.
