ADJUNCT Faculty – Computer Aided Design/Architectural Drafting
Westwood College in Houston South has openings for Adjunct Faculty in our Computer Aided Design/Architectural Drafting Program for the January 2009 term. If you have a passion for helping others learn and would enjoy bringing enthusiasm and energy into a career college classroom designed for students who have chosen an application-based education, apply now and e-mail a cover letter and resume to our Program Director, khadnot@westwood.edu. This is an ideal for a position for a person that is self-employed or an independent contractor and would like to supplement their income.
Disciplines taught include Residential Construction and Design, Commercial Construction and Design, and Basic Drafting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Graduate degree from a regionally accredited higher learning institution. OR NCARB (National Council of Architectural registration Board) Professional licensure in Architecture.
- A minimum of four years of related industry experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous teaching or training experience is a plus.
- Command of Auto Cad, Architectural Desktop and Revit software is required.
