- Partners with HR to implement long-term technical training strategies and curriculum for the Finance Function including programs for new and experienced hires, existing employees and emerging potentials.
- Coordinates and responds to all training needs for the Finance Function. Ensures that training initiatives are aligned with and support other organizational objectives.
- Evaluates the results of the training and course evaluations; maintain records, monitor/assess overall program effectiveness and recommend appropriate alternatives.
- Oversees all activities related to delivery of the Compliance training requirements and its Finance Policy training Curriculum for Baker Hughes (Travel & Entertainment Policy and Finance Policy training) which includes managing delivery activities as well as content maintenance activities:
· Program delivery activities
- Coordinates the delivery schedule with the Talent Management COE, ensuring that courses are appropriately represented in LearnLink. Identifies and schedules participants for courses.
- Tracks course completion and generates corresponding reports. Directs appropriate strategies for addressing low attendance metrics
- Coordinates WBT availability with the WBT Content Development team
· Program content maintenance activities
- Works with program stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand the impact of proposed edits to curriculum courses (Edit sources: Policy updates, user feedback, AER or Expense Form updates, etc.)
- Prioritizes proposed edits, taking into account work effort, existing schedules and risk
- Develops and manages to a content maintenance plan and associated curriculum version release plan
· Serves as an instructor in cases where classroom based delivery is required (i.e: an acquisition). Develop a pool of instructors who can be called upon to serve this same role within the organization.
· Provides routine status updates to stakeholders, ensuring that they are apprised of program risks and associated mitigation plans
- Assists in the internal or external development and delivery of a variety of training aids and solutions (workshops, eLearning, webinars, etc.) to support the consistent and effective implementation enterprise wide
- May provide training for medium to high complexity content through instructor-led classes.
- Coordinate instructor led-activities logistics, including room reservation, set-up, scheduling and inviting participants, and printing materials.
- Handle special projects as assigned.
This position has a direct reporting line within the Finance Function an a dotted line to the Talent Management COE
Ability and willingness to travel internationally. Travel 25% or less.
