Job Description:
Gilmore Valve is seeking a Business Development Manager to create new opportunities in the Subsea market. Gilmore is a 50 year, ISO certified manufacturer of high quality hydraulic and pneumatically operated valves and regulators. The ideal candidate will
- Report directly to the President, is highly visible at our investor level, and is critical to company’s future success
- Leverage our well established brand in the offshore market to deliver new products into new and existing markets
- Work with management, sales, and engineering to develop and implement approach to new product development and realization, primarily for high value valve products in the Subsea market
- Develop and communicate thorough understanding of the Subsea market and key opportunities/applications for hydraulic valves
- Demonstrate existing relationships or ability to quickly break ground with key customers at E&P, EPC, and OEM companies.
- Work closely with engineering team to arrange and deliver presentations with key customers.
- Proactively develop and deliver customer proposals and respond to RFQ’s related to highly engineered, specialty valve products.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external customers through all phases of marketing, engineering, manufacturing, testing, commercialization, and fulfillment of new products
- Work largely with domestic US based customers but will also involve roughly 25% international travel and communication with customers in major subsea markets
- Develop and manage NDA’s, IP agreements, contracts associated with projects
- Identify and develop IP opportunities and corporate acquisitions that fit within our Gilmore and Galathea strategy
