Sr. Preferred Client Officer
Location: Houston-River Oaks, TX
Description: This position will be at our River Oaks Retail Branch Generates consumer banking product sales to existing and prospective mass affluent clients by profiling financial needs and performing outbound teleconsulting calls with emphasis on home equity, investment and deposit product sales. Responsbible for building relationships with mass affluent clients in assigned markets through sales and providing exceptional service levels. Achieves monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals as established by manager. Profiles mass affluent clients and prospects by conducting financial needs assessments to identify opportunities to sell loan, deposit and investment products and for relationship development. Conducts predetermined number of teleconsulting calls each day to mass affluent clients and prospects. Identify cross sell opportunities for mass affluent clients and refer them to other Retail Banking Product Specialits. Resolves client problems, issues or concerns by providing exceptional levels of customer service. Maintains daily records of products sold and other management reports as required. Maximizes the Bank's profits by actively marketing the products the Bank has identified as critical or on special promotion. Keeps current on Bank products, pricing, sales techniques and marketing strategies. Develops marketing scripts to facilitate teleconsulting sales calls. BBVA Compass is an Equal Opportunity Employer
Requirements: Prefer college degree in Business, Finance or other related field, but will consider high school diploma or GED. Prefer four years Retail Banking Sales experience with emphasis on home equity lending, consumer lending, investments and deposit products, but will consider two years. Two to four years of teleconsulting sales experience required. Must have assertive communication skills, along with a focus for sales. Must be able to meet deadlines and pressure to attain sales objectives. PC skills with experience in MS Excel and Word documents. Must be fully licensed to sell investment products (Series 6 & 63 licenses).
