The Senior Developer is a major role on a small, creative, and highly motivated product software team.  Responsibilities will include but not be limited to specifying, designing, prototyping, testing and troubleshooting major new product capabilities, as well as enhancing and improving existing capabilities.  Candidate must be capable of self-management and must be comfortable working alone or in small teams as the situation dictates.

Job Responsibilities

·         Flush out specifications for new product capabilities based upon incomplete high-level feature descriptions

·         Design, prototype, implement, test and troubleshoot programs according to the system requirements and specifications

·         Assist users in definition and resolution of problems

·         Observe actual customer usage to evaluate and refine product interface

·         Maintain and enhance existing product capabilities

·         Write work instructions and document existing and new features

·         Work as an integral member of a high performance team

·         Estimate schedules for projects undertaken and complete them on time, adhering to predetermined specifications and quality standards

Job Requirements

·         3+ years of technical experience in Java, .Net (C++ or C#) on Windows platform

·         Fluency in one or more IDEs (Eclipse, Visual Studio, etc.)

·         Experience with Flash, interactive 2D GUIs and/or 3D visualization is a plus

·         BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Ability to work closely with high-profile customers

·         Ability to work on multiple complex projects simultaneously
